Among the standout presentations were two new flagship models ready to enter production—the Seal 08 sedan and Sealion 08 SUV.
The Star Technology: Flash Charging
At the heart of BYD’s exhibit lies the new Flash Charging technology, capable of replenishing the second-generation Blade Battery from 10% to 97% in just nine minutes—a remarkable achievement that addresses one of the primary concerns of electric vehicle owners. This advancement represents a significant leap forward in charging infrastructure and battery management.
Seal 08: Refined Elegance on Four Wheels
The Seal 08 sedan embodies sophisticated design philosophy with its streamlined exterior and meticulously curated interior. Every element has been thoughtfully considered, eliminating unnecessary embellishments in favor of understated luxury. A particularly refined touch comes from mother-of-pearl inlays—a finishing typically reserved for ultra-premium vehicles or high-end timepieces.
Passenger comfort takes center stage with zero-gravity front seats that recline with a single touch, while rear passengers enjoy electric footrests, adjustable backrests, and an integrated screen within the central armrest. All seating positions feature ventilation, heating, and massage functions. Sealion 08: Space Redefined
With a length of 511 centimeters and a wheelbase of 300 centimeters, the Sealion 08 SUV delivers impressive interior volume. The vehicle accommodates six independent seats arranged across three rows, offering flexible seating configurations for diverse family needs.
Design highlights include floating wheel hubcaps on 21-inch alloys and striking gradient-effect taillights stretching nearly two meters in length—a bold statement piece that commands attention on the road.
Both the Seal 08 and Sealion 08 incorporate BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery with Flash Charging technology, complemented by dual-chamber Disus-A pneumatic suspension systems that promise maximum comfort and stability.
