Launched in 2021, the BMW iX has represented the pinnacle of the Bavarian brand’s electric technology since its debut. Now, the 2025 facelift refines the blend of luxury, technology, and above all, performance—especially in terms of charging and range.

Thanks to performance optimizations, the new BMW iX extends its range from the previous 600 km to an impressive 701 km on the WLTP cycle when equipped with the BMW EfficientDynamics package. Pricing for the updated model will be announced in the coming weeks, with availability set for spring 2025.

BMW iX 2025: greater efficiency

By continuously improving the performance management electronics and optimizing key components such as wheel bearings and tires, BMW has reduced energy consumption in WLTP testing by up to 8%, depending on the model configuration.

The front end is distinguished by a redesigned BMW kidney grille, now featuring a thinner frame and an internal structure with vertical and diagonal lines.
