Audi has officially confirmed the name of its future Formula 1 operation, announcing that it will compete from the 2026 season as the Audi Revolut F1 Team.

The first public appearance of the team is scheduled for 20 January 2026 in Berlin, where Audi will unveil the official livery of its debut Formula 1 car. The event will mark the transition from a long-term industrial project to a fully operational racing team, ahead of Audi’s first season under Formula 1’s new technical regulations.

Public debut and fan engagement

Following the official presentation, Audi has planned a second initiative on 21 January dedicated to fans. This public-facing event will allow supporters to engage with the Audi Revolut F1 Team before its on-track debut, reinforcing the brand’s intention to build a direct relationship with the Formula 1 audience from the outset.

Revolut’s involvement as title partner goes well beyond traditional sponsorship. Audi has confirmed that Revolut Business will be integrated into the team’s financial operations, supporting the management of key economic and administrative processes. The partnership is positioned as a functional collaboration aimed at supporting the efficiency of a modern Formula 1 organisation.

Revolut’s technologies will also play a role in the commercial side of the project. Dedicated payment solutions are planned for official team merchandise, with the goal of connecting fans more closely to the Audi Revolut F1 Team during race weekends and across digital platforms.

New structure with technical continuity

As part of the launch of the Audi Revolut F1 Team, Sauber Motorsport AG will adopt the new name Audi Motorsport AG, reflecting Audi’s full assumption of responsibility for the Formula 1 programme. The team’s UK-based technical facility in Bicester will also be rebranded as the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK.

At the same time, Audi has chosen to preserve continuity across its existing structures. The entities Sauber Holding AG and Sauber Technologies AG will retain their current names, ensuring legal and technical stability while the team transitions into its new identity.

An international setup for 2026

The Audi Revolut F1 Team will operate through a multi-site organisation spanning Germany, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. This international structure is designed to centralise expertise across powertrain development, chassis engineering and race operations as the team prepares for its Formula 1 debut in 2026.
