Aston Martin has unveiled the new Vantage S, the sportiest and most focused version of its beloved grand tourer, combining British craftsmanship with breathtaking performance. Revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025, the Aston Martin Vantage S is more than just a visual upgrade — it’s a true evolution of a driving icon.

Aston Martin Vantage S: a V8 Worthy of the “S” Badge

At the heart of the new Vantage S lies a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, now tuned to deliver 680 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a massive 800 Nm of torque between 3,000 and 6,000 rpm. Thanks to an optimized Launch Control system, the car rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, with 200 km/h arriving in a blistering 10.1 seconds. Top speed? A thrilling 202 mph (325 km/h).

More than just straight-line speed, the Vantage S aims to enhance the emotional connection between car and driver, staying true to the tradition of Aston Martin’s “S” models — always a blend of sharp performance and refined dynamics.

The Vantage S benefits from comprehensive chassis tuning to sharpen handling without sacrificing ride comfort. Engineers have introduced Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers, calibrated specifically for this model. Paired with revised suspension geometry — including camber, toe, and caster — the result is a car that grips the road with supreme confidence, especially when cornering at speed.

Additional refinements include less rigid engine mounts and a rear subframe now bolted directly to the body, minimizing vibrations and enhancing structural integrity. This delivers a more connected, responsive feel, allowing the driver to extract maximum performance with confidence and control.

The design of the Vantage S goes far beyond aesthetics. New hood vents, available in gloss black or carbon fiber, help expel hot air from the engine bay, improving thermal efficiency. A full-width rear spoiler adds 44 kg of downforce at top speed, aiding high-speed stability.

A redesigned front splitter, Venturi-effect underbody vanes, and a revised aerodynamic balance with a front bias help improve cornering agility. This isn’t just a prettier Vantage — it’s a more aerodynamically capable one, honed for real-world driving and track performance.

Interior: Luxury Meets Sport

Step inside the Vantage S and you’re greeted by a cabin that strikes a perfect balance between sportiness and luxury. The interior is wrapped in Alcantara and leather, with optional semi-aniline finishes. Satin carbon fiber trim adds a technical edge, while embroidered “S” logos and Aston Martin wings speak to the car’s exclusivity.

Attention to detail extends to the smallest elements — such as the knurled metal drive mode selector, available in red or silver, and matched with accent stitching and seatbelt finishes. Chevron quilting and perforated Alcantara elevate the interior, offering both tactile pleasure and a sense of motion even at a standstill.

The new Aston Martin Vantage S will be available by the end of 2025, offered in both coupé and roadster configurations. It’s a car designed for those who seek exhilarating performance wrapped in timeless British elegance — a true driver’s car with no compromises on style or substance.
