Zeekr has unveiled an updated version of the 2026 Zeekr X.
The compact premium SUV receives upgraded charging technology, increased performance and a revised cabin — changes the brand says are aimed at strengthening the model’s everyday usability and relevance in markets like Denmark.
Golden Battery Makes Its Way Into the X
The headline technical update is the introduction of Zeekr’s in-house developed Golden Battery technology in the Long Range variant. The model now comes equipped with a new 61 kWh LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery, a chemistry long associated with durability and a longer service life compared to conventional lithium-ion alternatives.
The battery supports DC fast charging at up to 230 kW, enabling a charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 18 minutes under optimal conditions — a figure that positions it among the fastest in its class.
Both the Long Range and Privilege variants benefit from a revised drivetrain. The rear electric motor gains approximately 68 additional horsepower, bringing total system output to 340 hp in the Long Range and up to 496 hp in the Privilege AWD configuration.
The performance figures reflect the upgrade accordingly. The Privilege AWD now accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, while the Long Range manages the same sprint in 5.5 seconds.
A More Practical Cabin
Inside, the 2026 Zeekr X receives a number of incremental but meaningful updates. A new centre console introduces dual wireless charging for two phones simultaneously, while storage solutions throughout the cabin have also been improved.
Perhaps most notably, boot capacity has been increased by 47 litres, bringing the total to 404 litres. The rear centre seat also gains a ski hatch — a practical addition for buyers in Nordic markets where winter sports are part of daily life.
Danish Focus
Zeekr Denmark’s country director, Christian Lystoft, highlights the Long Range variant as particularly relevant for the Danish market, citing both the charging performance and the model’s entry-level leasing price.

The Long Range is available to lease from DKK 2,395 per month.
Pricing and Availability
The 2026 Zeekr X is available in three trim levels in Denmark: Core from DKK 279,900, Long Range RWD from DKK 329,900, and Privilege AWD from DKK 369,900. Orders are open now via Zeekr’s website, with introductions and deliveries on the Danish market expected from May 2026.
